Our Story - From farmhouse to seminar and business hotel

Travellers have appreciated the hospitality of Urs and Viktors since the Middle Ages. The first documented mention of the right to serve drinks dates back to 1542, a time when the southern foot of the Jura was an important trade route. The present inn was built in 1840. It served as an inn for travellers and ordinary citizens.In the fourth generation, the three brothers, Alban, Kuno and Pius Walker, took over and still run the Urs und Viktor together, which has been transformed into a modern seminar hotel and restaurant after many moderate renovations and additions. Walker Hotellerie AG was founded on 1 January 2016. Until 2015, the hotel was run as a general partnership. However, nothing changes in the management of the Walker brothers.
